He has some "obsessive- compulsions" in that he likes certain words (including "obsessive-compulsive") and he will use those words whenever possible. For example, Dave will not endure anyone saying "trash can;" he must say "trash receptacle." That's one of his favorite phrases, and he asked me to use it in my speech.
